CALENDAR (TRIMESTER 2024-1)
- Unregistering due date: Tuesday, 06 February.
- Holidays: Monday, 05 February, and Monday, 18 March.
- End of the course: Tuesday, 19 March.
- Dates of issue of academic records: from 01 to 05 April.
- Easter holidays: from 25 to 30 March.
ASSESSMENT
- The final grade will be the average of two midterm exams:
- 1st Midterm Exam (Files 6 to 8A): 15 and 16 February.
- 2nd Midterm Exam (Files 8B to 10): 14 and 15 March.
- Passing grade: 8.0, together with 80% of attendance.
- 5 consecutive absences cause dropping out.
CLASS RULES
- You must attend the class with your books, mostly your Student's Book.
- Your materials have to be original.
- Punctuality is really important. If you are late and there's already an activity in progress, you will have to wait for it to finish and take part in the next one.
- Use of English in class is essential. Try not to speak or interact in Spanish.
- Use your electronic devices only for activities related to the English class. Avoid instant messaging while in class.
- Please avoid the use of translators, use dictionaries instead.
OTHER ASPECTS
- Use a good bilingual or monolingual dictionary for class and for homework.
- The use of the Workbook and the Online Practice on the Oxford platform will be mainly for continuous assessment activities.
